We provide jaw slimming treatments in our London, Nottingham & Leicester clinics. You may feel that your face is too wide with prominent jaw angles; this can be caused by overactive masseter muscles, leading to a bulky, wide jaw.
The masseter muscles are attached to the angle of the jaw, controlling the chewing motion. If the masseter muscles are overactive and enlarged you can experience tooth grinding and headaches in addition to the lower face widening.
Jaw slimming treatment, using injectables, is an extremely effective way of relaxing the masseter muscles, causing the lower face to slim and take on a more contoured look. Your cheek bones will become more prominent and you will find that your face looks far more balanced.
